The last #3in30 of January. Already?

I know that I can’t get used to this, but I had another two hour delay from school this morning, so I just whipped up my scrapbook page for my first goal.

Oh wait- I am doing this all out of order.  I haven’t even made coffee yet.  (This is probably a bad idea.)

It’s time!!  3in30 Update Time!

3in30 Challenge

For more details about the goals that I set, read this post. (I set them halfway through the month. No comment.)

Goal #1 – Continue Scrapbooking Using My Memories Suite

Verdict?

Success!  (oh… you already knew that from my spoiler up top.  I told you blogging without caffeine might be a bad idea.)

I just love capturing the cuteness of the ages my boys are at.  All of the pictures lately have been from my phone, since that is what I always have with me.  I can’t find my iPod (you could pray that I find it — that would be awesome) which has a much better camera AND instagram. *sad face*  But – the phone pictures aren’t terrible.  And they are preserving the memories. So I am not complaining. (Even if it sounds like it.)

Goal #2  - Use My Planner

Success!  It even made one of the photos from my giveaway post.  I use that thing all the time.  I LOVE it.  There is a place to put every piece of information that I might need.  It is really cool.  And — this is a little/big thing.  The spiral binding is large enough to hold my favorite pen.  #Win.  :)

Goal #3 – Learn what to say no  or let go of

This week has been a strange one. With my husband being in the hospital for 24 hours, and all of the juggling and organizing that needed to occur, I got behind on some things, and now I am feeling the stress of trying to get everything back in order.  I have a list, and know what I need to do, and think that I can do it.  But, I am seeing very clearly the necessity of this goal.

In fact, in a twitter conversation, one my Hello Mornings Challenge pals started listing all of the things that I am involved with, and it took my breath away.  When I simply do the next thing in front of me, all is well.  When I start thinking about each little thing?  Oh my word.  So.  This goal, or a variation of it, might make an appearance again as I try to find balance between the things that I want to do and limitations of a) the 24 hour day, and b) this human body that needs sleep. *sigh*

Alright, friends! It is time to come clean!  How did your week and month go?  Have you started thinking about goals for *gasp*  February??

Come join the fun at the link-up!

  1. You’re doing awesome! So proud of you! Why was hubby in the hospital? I am so behind on my blog reading but there just aren’t enough hours in the day and that’s one of the areas that I have to forgive myself for letting go!
